What are the Disinfecting Services used for?

Our Disinfecting Services can be used in many instances such as treatment after sewer damage and treatment after mould remediation. It can also be used for general cleaning and disinfecting in homes, businesses and other facilities.

In homes that have high levels of indoor air pollutants such as mould spores, our disinfecting service can be used in all rooms and for the air circulation system. It is specifically recommended for older homes where duct cleaning has not been done for years or where there are old carpets.

The Disinfectant we use

Inspection Services Group has chosen to use a product that is the only all-botanical antimicrobial disinfectant. This disinfectant is approved by Canada Health Services and it is registered with the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) as a broad-spectrum, hospital disinfectant that kills 99.99% of bacteria, viruses & fungi (mould) and is suitable to be used in residential or commercial applications.

It is low VOC and does not contain any carcinogens, mutagens or reproductive toxicants. This product is free of synthetic fragrances, dyes and ammonia and chlorine.

This disinfectant can be used for cleaning, disinfecting and deodorizing in commercial or residential environments. It cleans and sanitizes in 30 seconds making it a fast and effective product for infection control.

Best used as a wipe application to remove surface moulds and as a spray after the remediation procedure is complete to control any remaining moulds. Should be used with proper remediation protocols, as all moulds should be removed from affected areas to ensure the health and safety of building occupants.
